Letter: Beware of unanticipated results
So, Sen. Mitch McConnell, who stated his top goal was to see that President Obama would not get re-elected, will not allow a vote on a new Supreme Court justice for the next 11 months.
The dysfunction of Congress has forced the president to use elective powers in lieu of a result-oriented Congress, causing unanticipated results. Now, Bernie Sanders or Hillary Clinton get elected and Democrats pick up a few Senate seats, and nominated for Supreme Court justice is a constitutionalist — Barack Obama. Another good move, McConnell, et al. Careful what you wish for.
