Letter: Obama could be statesman

Here is an opportunity for President Obama to step up from being a politician to becoming a statesman. He would nominate a jurist as close as possible philosophically and intellectually to Antonin Scalia as he can find. Will he step up to the plate? Sadly, I doubt it.
