Letter: Reasonable campaigning? Dream on

I dreamt that I turned on my TV and heard a presidential candidate say: “You folks have a tough task. You have to choose between candidates all of whom from both parties are well qualified, love our country, and want to do what is best for our future. The difference lies in our ideas and plans for achieving those ends. Today, I would like to spell out my ideas and plans to help you decide whether I deserve your vote.”

Then, the phone rang and I woke up. Oh (censored)!
