Letter: Kasich understands business
This is why I think Gov. John Kasich is the right person at the right time to lead our great country. The problem is employment coupled with lack of security. Also, the policies and strategies of today’s leadership created the problem.
In a world where we need a cooperative relationship between business and government with the proportions being 1 teaspoon of government and 500 gallons of private action, we have the exact reverse mix. The specific problem is that 70 percent of all manufacturing jobs have been driven out of the U.S., replaced by financial advisors and hamburger flippers. When you replace an overtime-earning tool and die maker with a 30-hour-per-week hamburger flipper, all economies take a hit, plus opprotunities for personal growth are eliminated.
What you will quickly see is that the human victims of today’s U.S. policies are the minority and younger citizens of the U.S. and many other countries. Unwinding today’s situation requires elimination of Obama’s manufacturing-suppressive policies with a new cooperative government-to-business spirit. Gov. Kasich knows how to do this.
