Letter: Early voting setup not so private
The last I heard, your vote is a very personal, private matter. Apparently not so in our state primaries.
When my wife and I went in for early voting this past Saturday, we were asked if we were voting Republican or Democratic so we could be sent into the proper room where the machines were geared to our chosen party.
This is the craziest voting setup I have ever heard of. It almost sounds illegal. Are there any other states in our union that practice this method of voting? I have only lived in four and have never seen this before. I’d love to hear some feedback.
