Letter: Trump stands out for veterans' support

As a retired U.S. Marine Corps sergeant major, I am glad to see that Donald Trump ignored Fox News and supported the veterans.

We have not had anyone support us for years, and I hope he is the one to fill the office of the president of the United States of America, as I am positive that he can "make America great again."

The only drawback is that not one of the group running for office has any military experience and, hopefully, whoever who is elected to run this country will pick a solid military adviser for their vice president.
