Letter: Walmart clearing not end of the story

Port RoyalMy initial anger at another small forest coming down to make way for a new Walmart on Lady's Island is tempered somewhat by the

knowledge that those trees will likely be dead in the water in 30 years or so anyway and those of us still around will be witness to efforts to establish ferry service to Walmart Island. Sigh. Can we really be this stupid?
