Letter: Library hours show misplaced priorities
As a nation, we are willing to spend billions in Afghanistan and Iraq. We are willing to maintain tens of thousands of troops in Korea and Okinawa for the last 70 years. But we can't afford to keep our libraries open. Or replace failing infrastructure. Or provide clean drinking water to our older cities.
