Letter: Too much pandering to far left and right

I will surely be glad when this political silly season is over.

The nation has several Republican candidates pandering to the far right and Democratic candidates pandering to the far left and nobody talking to the middle, where most of us actually reside.

I hope each party soon settles on its candidate of choice, so the candidates can get serious and start addressing the issues that affect us as a nation and as a world leader.

In the meantime, I think the right expression is "ho-hum."
