Letter: Hillary Clinton can't be trusted

Clearly, Hillary will be the nominee. That all Democrats, even those who might now favor a primary opponent, will vote for her is a given.

This fact tells the world that Democrats welcome to the highest office in the land a woman who throughout her adult life has proven to be a congenital, self-seeking liar.

She lied as secretary of state and now during her campaign for president. Self-seeking?

Was this not proven by remaining wed to Bill in spite of his serial philandering in order to enhance viability for future high office as Mrs. Clinton? During his philandering while president, did she not have her staff attempt to ruin the women who accused him of sexual advances, dishonest actions all? Her lying about the Benghazi tragedy is obvious. Now, in her campaign, she lies again, claiming a video of Trump is being used by ISIS to recruit terrorists.

That Democrats consider this woman fit to continue the dishonesty of the last seven years in the White House is deplorable. It shows that Democrats are incapable of feeling shame. Anything that advances their electability will be given a hearty welcome so they can continue in power.
