Letter: Can't trust Obama in gun control debate

Harbor IslandIt's really very simple with all the posturing going on by both sides in the gun control/background check debates. Those of us who believe in our 2nd Amendment rights simply do not trust this president and his administration.

He is the same one who told us all, "If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor," and, "If you like your health care plan, you'll be able to keep your health care plan."

Why should we expect any more element of truth from his assurances that his ultimate goal is not far more than expanded background checks? Makes simple sense to me.
