Letter: Americans, tune in to economic affairs
It's unfortunate that a great many Americans who care about their jobs and their incomes are too dense, ignorant, or focused on "Dancing with the Stars" and the Kardashians to understand or care about deficits, money supply, quantitative easing, overseas profits or the national economy in general.
Debates and discussions are about entertainment, face time, cute quotes and ad hominem attacks.
Ask economic policy questions and start serious economic debates, and people will change the channel faster than they can vote for the guy with the best hair.
