Letter: America must know about Islamic terror

Some of you may remember the senseless bombing of Beirut, Lebanon, in the 1970s. An especially interesting story written by Brigitte Gabriel told how her family was bombed each night for seven years. She and her mother and father had to sleep in a hole behind their restaurant, she writes in her book, "Because They Hate."

She escaped when her mother was hit and she rode in an ambulance to Israel with her and was amazed how well they were treated. She met a reporter, who she eventually married, and moved with him to Tampa, Fla.

She is often interviewed on TV and is part of a movement to make people understand what is really happening in the U.S. She often speaks in churches in the Tampa area.

It's a concentrated effort by Muslims to frighten us, bit by bit, never knowing where it might be safe.

My vote is no, no, no to take the latest group of Muslims into the U.S. We are a country not prepared to fight ISIS or the jihad; we're not prepared to defend ourselves and not aware of the danger that is in our future.

They are not peace-loving people. Which one of us could possibly replace our home and businesses again and again?

Get this book and read about this survivor of Islamic terror and how she tries to warn America.
