Letter: SC poll on Trump real head-scratcher

Good grief and little anchovies, Uncle Dud. The banner headline in the Dec. 11 paper fairly screams, "SC Republicans favor Trump."

What hath got rot? Have this state's Republicans lost their bean? They want a blustery, bragging, defaming, egomaniacal, bald-faced (and bald) (sorry, that's profiling, please ignore) billionaire to be our next president?

One wonders how he can talk at all with both feet and most of each leg in his mouth every time he speaks. If Trump fails to insult someone, his speech is not complete.

The only saving factor to his bombastic rants is that he has alienated the entire slate of Republican presidential hopefuls out of which one hopes will come a viable candidate.

The Donald's pathetically simplistic answers to hideously complex problems are bomb, invade, wall out and deny entry to either domestic or foreign problems, whichever is most appropriate, all of which ignore some aspect of our Constitution. I can only shake my head in wonder.

Uncle Dud shrugs and says, "Guess this state's not too big to be an insane asylum."
