Letter: Climate change is a 'Democratic plot'

That 1,000-year flood that we had in Columbia will require millions of dollars of federal and state money to repair the damages. (Gee, that is the sixth 1,000-year flood that the USA has had since 2010. What are the odds?)

This is all part of a vast left-wing Democratic plot. We all know that the Democrats want higher taxes and bigger government. All this time, they have just been pretending to be against the coal and oil industries -- that they claim are causing this climate change.

With the record-breaking fires in California and Oregon, the strongest typhoons and hurricanes in history and all the other climate-related catastrophes, we will soon have to double or triple the size of FEMA just to keep up.

Bigger government, higher taxes.

But did you know Democrats are quietly taking over the insurance industries? Our insurance rates are also going to go through the roof trying to keep up with all these disasters.

Well, you can't fool me. I am writing a letter today to every one of the Republican presidential candidates. I will demand that at least one of them promise to do something real about climate change -- by promising to not accept a single penny from the coal or oil industry.
