Letter: Let's limit the use of leaf blowers

I have been glad to see a few letters to the editor lately echoing my disdain for the noise of leaf blowers and other lawn equipment. This minor, but too frequent annoyance is really not necessary.

A 3-horsepower leaf blower does not have to make more noise than a 300-horsepower automobile! It is time we imposed a reasonable limit on the level of sound that these machines produce.
