Letter: Leaf blowers leave no peace on island

Hilton Head IslandI could not agree more with previous writers about leaf blowers. There is no peace on Hilton Head Island. Leaf blowers are everywhere and all the time! Golf course, swimming pool, sitting on the porch.

Surely with all our technology we could silence those machines. Or at least muffle them. The plantations don't allow noisy motorcycles but have no restrictions on the blowers, which are sequentially constant.
