Letter: At home and abroad, US heads wrong way
This came along with Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu flying to Moscow to seek clarifications from President Vladimir Putin about his plans for Syria, along with military to military coordination.
Then there is China, which continues cyberattacks on the U.S. while militarizing its island-building in the South China Sea.
Obama and John Kerry continue to talk, while Putin and China's Xi Jinping continue to increase their ability to influence world events. All this while leaving our allies and friends around the world to fend for themselves.
At home, Obama's laws and regulations are increasing the cost of business. We have the Obamacare tax on businesses that employ workers who work more than 29 hours a week, restrictions on energy use and exporting, along with a failure to fix the problem of small businesses having to pay ordinary income tax on income. Small businesses are the major contributors of job creation.
All this while the Democrats continue to talk about being for the middle class, yet their actions limit business' ability to grow and hire. After almost seven years, the economy has a job participation rate of 62 percent and a steep rise in part-time jobs.
These are some of the reasons the majority of people feel the country is going in the wrong direction.
