Letter: Guards should fire plenty at gun range

What a sad, sad commentary on a recent Island Packet front page: "Armed for Safety: ... security guards ... rarely fire their weapons." Shame, shame on the security guards and the management of the gated communities.

Armed security guards should fire their weapons at a gun range monthly and be qualified annually. Come on SLED, where are you?
