Considering all that has taken place with the school board lately, I would ask the newspaper to dissect the Beaufort County School District for the taxpayers.
It would be interesting to know:
1. How many students we have.
2. How many highly paid administrators and/or employees we have, with at least $60,000 in pay.
3. Tell exactly what their job description is and what they have actually accomplished while in their position.
4. The ratio of highly paid employees to students.
It seems that, while the teachers continue to be burdened with higher student counts in the classroom and are continually asked to do more, the number of administrators continues to grow. Such as "director of innovation." Just what is that anyway?
