Letter: No need for outrage, venom in local dialog

Hilton Head IslandHilton Head Island Mayor David Bennett's commentary in the paper was right on the mark.

Sure, there are issues before us, but that does not mean we should respond with "outrage" or venom.

Rather we should have responsible dialog and respect opposing points of view. We are fortunate to have thoughtful leadership on the Town Council.
