Letter: Islamic extremism must be confronted

Of all the serious ramifications of the Obama presidency, the seeming lack of will to confront the problem of Islamic extremism is the most significant. Perhaps, as many suspect, there really isn't a lack of will, but a different agenda.

If, as some have suggested, Obama is a closet Muslim, or at the very least a Muslim sympathizer, what better way to infiltrate our country with the proponents of the Caliphate than to have open borders? And to invite, at taxpayer expense, a large number of "refugees" from the very heart of radical Islam to enter our country?

Remember, virtually all of the 9/11 hijackers, as well as the Islamic perpetrators of other bombings and shootings, were here legally.

With Islam, when you hold out your hand in friendship, you frequently pull back a bloody stump.
