Letter: Keep Moss, but not past current contract

Here's a simple solution to our school superintendent problem: Jeff Moss should not be fired, but he should be told his contract is to be terminated when its time is up and not extended or considered for re-hiring.

This will save the taxpayers of Beaufort County legal costs (I'm sure there is a lawsuit waiting to happen) for settling. Moss can seek another position somewhere else, and the Beaufort County Board of Education can take applications for his replacement.

If the school board renews his contract or extends it, then it is the voters who should have the final say by removing the board members who allow this fiasco to continue.
