Letter: School board swings and misses on Moss

The mighty swing of the public has been quieted.

"There is no joy in Mudville ... the mighty Casey has struck out."

And there we have it folks, the Beaufort County Board of Education just thumbed its collective noses at all of us and said we will do it our way, never mind that we smell of spoiled superintendent.

Well, carry on ladies and gentlemen, but don't be surprised to find that no one is sitting on the edge of their chairs to hear you utter your words of wisdom in the future. Your wisdom and your collective trust is lost, and you have been snookered by Superintendent Jeff Moss. Now our children know you really can do ill and get away without so much as a scratch.

And, hopefully, you at least are not going to authorize payment to Mrs. Moss for her day or two of exceptional employment innovating the Beaufort County School District.
