Insulted in Windmill Harbour: Impeach Stu Rodman | Letters
I live in Windmill Harbour. For years, my doctor has told me that the only thing certain to kill me is getting in and out of Windmill Harbor.
Meanwhile, Beaufort County Council chairman Stu Rodman abrogates county procedure and calls Windmill Harbour residents “rude, argumentative, disruptive” and “counterproductive” for wanting to find a solution to a dangerous traffic problem?
Spare me. I say – impeach Stu Rodman.

Give no thanks to Adam Schiff
The Island Packet should be ashamed of itself. Your newsletter emails and online notifications have recently contained an advertisement that was a petition to thank U.S. Rep. Adam Schiff for leading the Trump impeachment hearings.
Adam Schiff is a dangerous political hack. He is a serial liar, saying for years he had solid evidence that Trump had committed obstruction of the Mueller Report. He said he had no connection to the whistle blower, when he and his staff had walked him through the entire process.
He conducted the entire process in the House with no due process. He prevented the Republicans from calling any witnesses in the House process. He coached witnesses in the House proceeding, truncating witness statements answering Republican questions.
We need to change the definition of hypocrite in the dictionary. It should show all of the members of Congress who fought against the impeachment of Bill Clinton and now insist on impeaching Donald Trump for the exact same reasons.
If an author wrote a book with everything Schiff has done, an editor would turn it down saying that no congressman could be that corrupt.
Schiff does not have an honest bone in his body. And if you want to thank him for the travesty he has committed, neither do you. At the moment, I hold both the Democrats in Congress and The Island Packet in total contempt.

Lindsey Graham goes with the wind
President Donald Trump was a coward when he dodged the military draft. U.S. Sens. Lindsey Graham and Tim Scott are also cowards, along with their 49 colleagues who chose to conspire with Trump in concealing pertinent information and documentation from the American people. The defense has an obligation to turn over all relevant evidence to the prosecution.
Senators were afraid to hear additional testimony that would confirm the Trump administration’s corruption and lawlessness.
Trump has made over 16,000 public lies and/or misleading claims since his election. How many more in private meetings? He even has his top comrades in crime (Secretaries Mike Pompeo and William Barr) lying and covering up for him.
Graham goes with the wind. When Sen. John McCain was popular, Lindsey was riding his coattails. When McCain passed, Graham made a 180-degree turn to jump on the Trump bandwagon, even though he previously called Trump a “kook who was not fit to lead.” Trump in turn called Graham “a disgrace,” a “nut job” and “one of the worst representatives” and “one of the dumbest human beings I’ve ever seen.”
As long a Lindsey keeps kissing up to Trump, they will be bosom buddies. But once he makes a bad move or comment, then the tide will change and Trump and his Fox network will rip into him like they have with so many others. Have you watched how they have turned on John Bolton?
We need adults in the White House and representing us in the Senate.
