Grateful for help with Veterans’ Memorial in Bluffton | Letters

American Legion Auxiliary, Unit 205 and the members of Dennis Becker Post 205 would like to extend heartfelt thanks and gratitude to the town of Bluffton and all those who have been so instrumental in the construction of the Veterans’ Memorial at Buckwalter Place.

Special thanks to town manager Marc Orlando, Scott Marshall, Constance Clarkson and Pat Rooney for their diligence and patriotic commitment to this project.

This memorial, which is meant to be a place of respite for the entire community as well as the many visitors the town hosts, is a fine tribute to all our servicemen, present and past.

Personalized bricks are still available for purchase. The cost is $100 per brick for three lines of 14 characters (spaces are counted as a character). Checks should be made payable to: ALA Bluffton Vets Memorial and mailed to P.O. Box 1933, Bluffton, SC 29910.
