How about the 401(k)? Trade wars hurt investors

From an economic standpoint, everything looks rosy — jobs, employment, business expansion, wage increases.

Hold on a minute — what about my 401(k) and my investment portfolio?

As of this date, all the gains we’ve had this year have evaporated because of constant losses in the Dow and NASDAQ.

President Donald Trump is directly responsible for these losses by virtue of trade wars caused by trade tariffs he initiated. Investors are frightened over the turmoil this is causing now and in the future with trading countries. Stock markets continuously lose value because of the uncertainty.

This situation must come to a halt by some compromise with trading nations.
