The chutzpah of American airlines

I do not care if you are Republican, Democrat, liberal or conservative.

In the recent article concerning airlines protesting President Donald Trump’s budget proposal to raise taxes on airline tickets in the range of $8 per ticket by 2020, their quoted concern was: “Increasing taxes in any form will add cost of flying for millions of Americans, curtail job growth and limit the options small and medium communities currently enjoy.”

Airline executives were all-in when our government went after Qatar, Etihad and Emirates airlines for unfairly competing with U.S. airlines.

It takes a lot of chutzpah and gall for the executives of companies that cram passengers into less-than-comfortable seats to increase profits, and charge every way possible to the flying public to ride on their planes.

I would not be surprised if they were to come up with a way to charge for water and toilet paper on “economy” flights.

Chutzpah.
