Elephant in the room: Media’s liberal bias
The news from print, television, and internet sources continually flow non-stop with story after story while the elephant in the room looms larger and larger each passing day. I am referring, of course, to the liberal slant and bias that now dominates the media empire.
Multiple studies show the media coverage of candidate Donald Trump and President Trump has remained constant over the past year and a half … 90 percent negative vs. 5 percent positive.
First, the steady drumbeat of Russian collusion, followed by obstruction of justice speculation, and now diagnosis on the president’s mental fitness for the job.
Granted, there are plenty of contentious issues with this president, but there seems to be absolutely no barriers and no limits in the desire to bring this president to his knees. Even the president’s wife and family are often treated with disdain and contempt.
No president in modern history, or maybe ever, has faced this level of adversity from within his own country. It is remarkable, really, that the president and his administration have accomplished as much as they have, given the press coverage, the Democrats’ full-resistance mode, the manipulation of FBI and Justice Department investigations, and the never-Trumpers in his own party.
Maybe, just maybe, there’s a positive story here worth reporting.
