Thank you: Blackstone’s Cafe

Blackstone’s Cafe chose the Humane Association of the Lowcountry (HAL) to be the beneficiary of their “7 days of GIVING.”

Not only were we touched and honored, it turned out to be a very successful event. We accomplished two objectives: raising money and awareness. Blackstone’s owners and staff were the best partners and collaborators before, during, and after the event. We can’t thank them enough for their kindness.

Special “Shout Out” to:

▪  Annamaria and Lou Gaudio for making the event happen.

▪  Kristi Webb and Blackstone’s incredible staff for supporting the vision.

▪  Beaufort merchants and Marine Corps Community Services for donating prizes for the raffle.

▪  Everyone that came to Blackstone’s Cafe for Breakfast or Lunch. (Blackstone’s donated a percentage of their gross revenue during the Week of Giving to HAL.)

▪  Everyone who bought raffle tickets or made a direct donation to HAL. (All prize winners have been notified. Most have picked up their prizes.)

Thank You! Thank You! Thank You! Thanks for believing in and supporting HAL. We know there are lots of charities looking for money and we are grateful many of you chose HAL. We wish you and your families a New Year filled with comfort and joy for that is what you are giving to homeless cats and dogs in 2018.
