Forget style; look at Trump’s accomplishments
I am amazed at the number of people who are obsessed with presidential style.
We just had eight years of too cool for school. And that style led to a stagnant economy which did produce a record — not one year of achieving 3 percent GDP growth.
His foreign policy can only be described as weak and his effort to placate Putin just ridiculous. Hollowing out our military to create a bigger welfare state was criminal. Our government has one primary responsibility and that is to protect us, not provide for us.
No, I don’t really like the current president’s style, but I am way beyond style. I am only concerned with results and I like the results I see.
Obviously, the tax plan will spur the economy and I’m betting we will blow through 3 percent GDP growth. And with
economic growth, people will leave welfare for jobs.
I love how President Donald Trump has made it clear to NATO, the UN and certain countries that they should not take us for
granted — “we take names.” He projects strength and strength scares liberals. He doesn’t micromanage the military, producing outstanding results.
I am reminded what his predecessor said about high oil prices, “We can’t drill our way out of this problem.” Well, we drilled our way out of that problem and Trump is moving to make us totally energy independent.
Let me know when he has a “tryst” with an intern in the Oval Office. Then I would be ready for President Pence.
