GOP, quit giving Trump a pass on racist remarks
South Carolinians should thank Sen. Lindsey Graham for showing the courage to chastise President Donald Trump for his remarks during the meeting on DACA.
However, I don’t understand why Graham is allowing Sens. Tom Cotton and David Perdue make him and Sen. Richard Durbin look as if they both have faulty hearing or memory issues.
The fact that most Republicans are willing to give Trump a pass on making racist remarks in their presence is not doing this nation a bit of good. Giving Trump a pass on any unacceptable behavior just encourages more of it. Trump is a grown man who should be treated like one, so hold him accountable.
