Beaufort County school board members should personally pay for the mediator
Are Beaufort County Board of Education members paying for the mediator out of their own pockets?
After all, they more than likely would not have been elected had they shown the immaturity that has been on display for quite some time while they were running for the position.
I do not attend school board meetings, but I have read and keep up with everything that is published in the paper. Having more than 20 years experience in management, it is clear to me that the school board does not understand that diversity is a valuable asset to any organization and that differing opinions and ideas should always be encouraged and welcome.
What is very apparent is the seemingly endless stumbling blocks of personal agendas and egos on behalf of these grown adults. It should not cost the taxpayers a dime to resolve personal conflicts and attitude problems.
What’s next? How much will it cost when that doesn’t work?
