Trump is a danger to the world
In response to a recent letter, I could not let it go unanswered. The writer took offense that President Donald Trump has been called incompetent, etc., by Obama supporters. He is called this by many more than Obama supporters.
While comparing Trump’s accomplishments to President Barack Obama’s, he called Obama “just a community organizer” and Trump a man who “rose to be a multi-billionaire.” The truth is, Trump was given a trust fund as well as millions in loans from his father, along with his father’s many business connections, to become a “self-made” billionaire.
Obama was much more than a community organizer. From a single parent family, he attended Harvard Law School, was president of the Harvard Law Review, a civil rights attorney and taught constitutional law. In addition, he held elective office in Illinois and the United States Senate.
Trump inherited a stable, growing economy with low unemployment. Consider what Obama inherited and it is fair to say that Obama brought us back from the brink of economic disaster and recession. Obama saved the auto, housing and banking industries.
The writer wanted to talk about Obama lies. The Trump lies include (not a comprehensive list) the crowd size on election day, draining the swamp, releasing tax returns after audit, Mexico paying for the wall, no time for golf, climate change is a hoax, the repeal of Obamacare. He has damaged our standing on the world stage and insulted our allies and inflamed our adversaries.
Trump is a danger to the world.
