Letters to the Editor

Beaufort County school board, learn from Hardeeville

The Hardeeville mayor and Town Council, the city manager and director of economic development are to be commended for having “good faith negotiations” with a land developer that resulted in both sides benefiting.

Only when all sides enter into negotiations with a positive attitude and realization that there will be give and take necessary to result in a win for both sides.

I have never lived in Hardeeville, but the citizens that do should be proud.

Then there is the Beaufort County Board of Education, whose members don’t seem able to spell “good faith negotiations” or “positive outcome.”
