Maybe we really are stupid
Maybe they think we’re stupid.
Headlines say: “Extent of overcrowding in district schools unclear.” The school board knows how many students they have, they know how many classrooms they have and they know the growth trend. What’s not to know?
Now Superintendent Jeff Moss asks for $128.7 million, but hasn’t or won’t release facts to justify the request.
At the same time, the Hilton Head Island Town Council secretly wasted $29,000 of our money to deal with Town Manager Steve Riley’s employment ... with absolutely no results to show for it.
Gee, if I didn’t know better, I would think there are some kick-backs related to the way they spend our money.
Yet we let them get away with it. Maybe we are stupid.
