Keep up the enhanced law enforcement on U.S. 278

It’s hard to accept the recent writer’s contention that enhanced traffic law enforcement “... is a ruse to collect money.”

I saw at least six vehicles stopped by police Friday on U.S. 278. In view of the driver behavior around here — speeding, tail gating, cutting in and out, running red lights and not using signals — that’s a long-needed great start.

As to any revenues collected, use them for additional enhanced enforcement.
