What does Beaufort County do for us?
I read the article about Harbor Island. The two houses shown are right in front of our house. Beaufort County’s advice to us was to make this a public island if they were to administer a grant for repairs. My question is what does Beaufort County do for me? I pay 6 percent taxes and get no benefits from them. What do they do for that money? I guess we are just out of luck when it comes to Beaufort County services.
