School district has credibility problem
Regarding the school redistricting article that appeared on Aug. 15, would Beaufort County residents approve a plan to fund $300 million for school expansion and upgrades prior to Superintendent Jeff Moss and the school board fully explaining in detail the $30 million charged on school district credit cards?
School board member Mary Cordray stated that she does not want to “feed the notion” that the board does not have credibility. Well here is news for Mrs.Cordray, the school board led by Moss has zero credibility when accounting for our tax dollars.
I am sure that Beaufort County residents are very willing to support great schools that will prepare our young people for success. The problem is that we do not trust the adults that are in charge of the system.
