A better way for school credit card reports

I would like to recommend that only public monies be used on Beaufort County School Board credit card public reports. Why mix in student and other funds?

Why not have another card, where necessary, for any fund that does not involve tax monies from federal, state or local sources, or bond proceeds?

It will make the reports very complex as being proposed by the superintendent.

They could have separate reports for student and other funds.

The public must be given the details on the admitted 47 questioned charges to the cards, as well as other questionable charges identified by Fran Bisi. Why does the board majority and the superintendent refuse to support a forensic audit? Do they have too much to hide?

Unless they change, we will have to wait for the 2018 election to elect a responsible majority to our school board. Right now, the board only has four members who aren’t rubber stamps for the ethics-challenged superintendent.
