Eliminate flashing yellow turn signals
The flashing yellow light option for left turns at U.S. 278 and Buck Island Road needs to be changed immediately to a green arrow signaling to go and a red arrow signaling to stop.
So long as that flashing yellow left-turn arrow is in operation, a driver behind the driver choosing not to turn through the yellow flashing light will grow ever more impatient, and will probably blow his or her horn loudly to get the driver in front of them to move. It will be an unusually steel-nerved driver to not be intimidated into moving by the horn blasting behind them.
