What about all that trash dumped in the ocean?
I continually read about the impact on our oceans due to the warming climate and how the rising temperatures are melting the ice caps and causing the oceans to rise.
I read how seismic testing and oil drilling is going to have, or has had, a negative impact on marine life.
These facts can and have been disputed by many.
One thing I would like to ask is: If you fill a bath tub to the rim and add a 10-pound bag of sand to it, what happens?
You do not need an advanced degree to know the answer. The tub overflows.
Taking this simple bit of information into consideration, why is it we never hear anything about the billions of tons of trash that is dumped into our oceans on a daily basis?
Many barges leave the New York and New Jersey ports on a daily basis full of garbage to be dumped into the Atlantic Ocean.
What impact does this trash and the other trash dumped by our cities have on the ocean levels and pollution?
If the temperatures stop rising, will the oceans continue to rise due to the fact we are still dumping the tons of trash in it?
The tub will only hold so much water.
Why is it we never hear about these facts from the environmentalists?
