Letter: Releasing repeat offenders is insanity
Whenever I read about repeat offenders being repeatedly freed on bail, I am reminded of the observation of James L. Petigru, South Carolina’s attorney general prior to secession: “South Carolina is too small for a republic and too large for an insane asylum.”
