Letter: Library hours a puzzle
When I was 6 or 7 years old, my mother took me to the library. I got my own card! The free public library — what a wonderful institution.
Imagine my disappointment, when on Friday, Dec. 23, we drove to the library to find it closed. That happens a lot. I certainly expected the library to be closed on Christmas Day and Christmas Eve. But two days before Christmas?
Like so many things, the public library is not what it used to be.
