Letter: It’s China first for Ivanka Trump

So, I was shopping in Belk this past Saturday afternoon and came across an attractive top. In order to ascertain the size, I took the item off the rack and looked at the label and, to my surprise, discovered the brand name was “Ivanka Trump,” her fashion line.

To my further surprise, a smaller label next to the manufacturer’s label, stated it was made in ... wait for it ... wait for it ... China. So much for “America first” and “Make America great again.”

Ivanka has been present at some very high profile meetings with “The Donald” and foreign leaders. It’s beyond obvious that she will play an important role in Daddy’s presidency, but she apparently did not receive the “America First” memo.
