Letter: Supposed hacking takes eyes off the real story

Many out there in the private world and the fairyland known as “Congress” are troubled by the possibility Russians may have hacked into the computers belonging to the Democratic National Committee and Hillary Clinton and subsequently influenced the presidential election. To date, this story boasts no credible source stemming from the CIA, NSA, FBI, or AFL-CIO. Nada.

Judging from what we learned from the Wikileaks release of hacked emails about the lies, cronyism, scheming, and corruption within the DNC and Hillary’s State Department, we should thank any Russians for providing this much-needed information that served to corroborate what most of us skeptics, excuse me, we deplorables, suspected.

Yes, let’s focus on the Russians and Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump. Let’s forget about the DNC’s scheme to undermine the Bernie Sanders campaign. Let’s forget about the “Russian reset,” the disastrous policies of Secretary Clinton and President Obama that led to the blow up of the Middle East. Let’s forget about who has milked nations of the world for hundreds of millions of “pay-for-play” dollars.

Unlike Obama, who periodically claimed to have a laser-like focus on jobs, President-elect Trump has ignited renewed hope for honest, constructive change in domestic job policies.
