The Child Abuse Prevention Association (CAPA) is pleased to announce receipt of a grant from the Berkeley Hall Charitable Foundation.
Education and empowerment of children is the best way to break the cycle of abuse and neglect. CAPA has a longstanding collaboration with the Beaufort County School District. Our programs are best-practice, science-based and meet S.C. Department of Education standards for guidance counselors.
The BHCF grant will allow CAPA to update our curriculum with contemporary and multi-cultural materials as well as expand our program to include more grades.
The Berkeley Hall Charitable Foundation is a 501(c)(3) with the goal of helping nonprofits improve lives by funding projects that address the basic human needs of the most vulnerable residents of the Bluffton community and neighboring Beaufort County.
