Letter: We don’t want a one-party newspaper
Many years ago in my early education, I was taught that in government, a one-party system was called a dictatorship. Washington today has almost succeeded in achieving this long sought goal.
Some of your readers are attempting to have the Leonard Pitts column eliminated.
If the editors eliminate Leonard Pitts, who is one of the best columnists, what or who will be next?
May I remind your readers that there happen to be many Democrats living among you here in South Carolina who do not wish to read a one-party newspaper.
