Letter: Honor all the vets at ceremonies

I understand that the Veterans Day celebration this year was to honor the Korean War veterans, which it did very well.

It has always been enjoyable to see the posture and eyes of veterans as they stand up with pride at the local Veterans Day event when their war was called out. Alas, this year it did not happen.

As an example, the calling of the World War II vets has been missing a few times in the last couple of years. Instead, a few selected were asked to stand. These vets are still around and all deserve to be recognized.

I hope in the coming years every war will be called out so we can honor all vets as they deserve to be.
