Letter: Election losers need to get a grip

A recent letter asked, “What has happened to Americans?” bemoaning Trump’s election and denigrating those who voted for him as unintelligent. This seems to be the latest mantra of the left.

Perhaps if some of the Clinton supporters had actually listened to something other than the mainstream media for their information, they wouldn’t be crying now. To say “the better candidate lost” is laughable — that we could even allow a person under investigation by the FBI, someone still being investigated for her foundation, and a proven liar, to run tells me something about what has happened to Americans.

Almost half of them are ill-informed cry babies who throw tantrums (and riot) when they don’t get their way. What do these people think Trump is going to do to them? It’s just ridiculous. And are those who think the Electoral College should go aware that in 2012, Mitt Romney would be president now if the popular vote counted, not the Electoral College?

Get a grip, people. We managed to live through eight years of Obama, after all. And it’s impossible for Trump to do worse than that.
